EZUniverse attends the annual Burger King Franchise Summit. On September 13-15th, EZUniverse attended the NFA (National Franchise Association) meeting in Washington DC. It was our first opportunity to share the benefits of EZConnect to the Burger King community. There was a lot of interest in our product which resulted in a number of projects being started with various franchisees.
The annual summit allows franchisees and vendors alike to not only network but to lobby their Congressmen and Senators on issues which are important to small business owners. Some of the speakers at the event included John McCain, Tucker Carlson, Paul Begala and Newt Gingrich.

Shoplifting was seen as the major problem that retailers faced, accounting for 42.5% of shrinkage or $48.9 billion. In the US, Canada, and Australia employee theft was thought to be larger than shoplifting. In the U.S., shoplifting was thought to account for 'only' 35.7% ($15.1 billion) of shrink and employee fraud 44.3% ($18.7 billion). Read More
